Big Bite is excited to introduce the WarMouth, the latest signature bait from Big Bite Pro Dean Rojas. Dean has been working on the WarMouth since early 2010, when he first brought the concept to Big Bite. To develop this type of bait. In fact, Dean used prototype baits to help him secure a 3rd place finish at the 2010 Elite Smith Mountain event, an 8th place finish at the first FLW Tour stop in 2011 at Lake Okeechobee in Florida, and most recently, a victory at the Trokar Battle on the Bayou in Toledo Bend, LA. The WarMouth is a deadly sight fishing bait that has contributed to Dean's top finishes. Also known as a swim bream, the subtle kicking action of the legs also makes it an excellent swim jig trailer.

The WarMouth measures a compact 3.5 inches long and is designed to be fished with an Extra Wide Gap worm hook. When examining the WarMouth, it is evident that special features have been incorporated into the bait to enable it to be fished on its side without causing line twist. The design of the legs and body allow the bait to be rigged Texas style, enabling it to be fished sideways without spinning during the fall, resulting in a natural gliding action. Upon closer inspection, three ridges are visible on the flat side of the body, allowing the hook point to be skin-hooked for a weedless presentation and optimal hook penetration.

The WarMouth was specifically designed to be Texas rigged on its side, mimicking a baitfish feeding on the bottom, which is especially enticing to bass, particularly when they are on beds. Although Dean Rojas has achieved significant success using this method, which has earned him over $200,000, the WarMouth can also be fished vertically on a jighead, swim jig, or drop shot, making full use of the subtle kicking action of the tail.
